SHIPPING / LOCAL PICK UP:
Flat rate shipping
We have simple flat rate shipping system. Shipping fee per mountain bike within California is flat $20. Shipping for mountain bike shipped within lower 48 states is $40. Some of our mountain bikes are shipped for flat $80 fee due to weight and size.
Tracking numbers & turnaround time
We ship by UPS or FedEx on same or next business day of order. You will be emailed tracking number upon shipment. Shipping usually takes 2-3 days within California and 3-5 days within lower 48 states.
Local pick up
Some of our mountain bikes are available for local pick up instead of shipping. There is a $10 fee for this option. If the mountain bike is available for local pick up, it will be noted on the products page. During checkout please select the local pick up option and select the city where would you like to pick up. Upon checkout you will be emailed the address and telephone number to arrange your local pick up.
Accessories free shipping
Our accessories are shipped separately from bicycles. The price advertised for our accessories INCLUDES FREE SHIPPING.
PRICE MATCHING
We strive to be the most affordable solution for mountain bike needs and therefore we price match. If you see lower priced new mountain bike anywhere on the internet please email us the link to the product and we will honor this price. It is however important to remember that some retailers offer low priced products but charge HIGH fees for shipping in order to compensate. Therefore we will price match based on the FINAL cost of the mountain bike which includes shipping.
ASSEMBLY OF OUR MOUNTAIN BIKES AND ACCESORIES
All of our mountain bikes are shipped brand new in the box. They come about 80% pre-assembled and assembly is simple. We recommend assembly in bicycle shop; however, assembly is usually done at home within 15 minutes by our customers.
WARRANTY / RETURNS
Defects
All of our mountain bikes are free of any defects. If you receive mountain bike, please email us the details along with pictures of the defects at customersevice@mountbikes.com . We must receive this email within 7 business days from the date the item was received. We will replace the defective parts. However, we are not responsible for damage caused by excessive wear and tear.
Shipping damages
The mountain bike might be damaged due to improper handling by shipping carriers although this rarely happens. If this happens, please notify us and we will help you file a claim with shipper for compensation and damages.
Warranty
All of our mountain bikes have one month warranty for the frame and all component joint parts. The manufacturers will replace any parts failing during the warranty period. However, the shipping fees will not be covered by the warranty.
